# Credits & top-ups

QACrow uses a **prepaid credit** model. There are no subscriptions — you buy credits and they're spent **per test run**.

## How runs are priced

- **Real browser runs** (the default): you're charged the underlying browser-vendor cost × **1.4** markup, with a **$0.10 per-run minimum** and a **$7 per-run hard cap**. Most short flows land between **$0.50 and $2**.
- **AI-only plan reviews** (no browser): a flat **$0.25** per review.

The exact charge for every run is recorded in your Ledger alongside the raw vendor breakdown so you can audit margins.

## Top-up

Open **Billing & Credits → Top up**, choose an amount, and pay with Stripe.

## Auto top-up

Toggle **Auto top-up** to recharge automatically when your balance falls below a threshold. You set both the threshold and the recharge amount.

## Spend cap

Set a **monthly spend cap** to prevent runaway costs. When the cap is hit, queued runs are rejected with `insufficient_credits` until the next month.

## Ledger

The **Ledger** tab shows every credit movement: signup grants, purchases, run charges, refunds, and adjustments.
